It is named for the cliff stone carvings in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. The tunnel is 744.9 meters long, 6 ~ 15 meters wide, up to 30 meters wide, 6 ~ 8 meters high and more than 30 meters high. The cave hall is large and high, with rich and colorful natural scenery such as stalactite, stone curtain, stalagmite, stone flag and stone grape.

Kaiyuan karst cave is called the rare cave resource in Shandong Province by national karst geological experts for its exquisite natural landscape and rich ancient cultural relics. It is worthy of being the first cave in Shandong!
